The helpfulness of the staff. The function we were attending changed the starting time at the last minute and we required an earlier check in time. This was sorted out with the minimum of fuss and when we checked in were greeted by a very friendly member of staff.

The whole atmosphere was simply indescribably beautiful. The location is unique and overwhelming. All the staff was friendly and warm. And the chef would have deserved (at least) one Michelin star.

The hotel is one of the better 3 star hotels I've stayed at. It is a little date at bits as expected however the location is tremendous. The breakfast is decent and dinner was ok We stayed in a room that had access to one of the Turrets and the kids loved it. Id definitely go back.
