Our stay was perfect. The rooms, with lovely balconies, overlook the sea, and the breakfast room is light and airy with the same open sea view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a variety of fresh baked cakes as well as yoghurt, fruit, cheese pastries, eggs etc. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful. We loved Simos beach, which had the most amazing crystal clear water and soft sand; and the harbour town to promenade in the evening where you can pick a taverna for dinner on the seafront.

The Filoxenia is a very good hotel in an excellent location. The room was comfortable with a wonderful view, and the beach was right next door. It's a beautiful half-hour walk to old Monemvasia, a place full of charm and history. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located place with friendly service, the Filoxenia is unrivaled. Breakfast was very tasty!
