First of all, THANK YOU to Woody House for the complimentary room upgrade from Single Bed to Double Bedroom. Room may be small as per HK standard, but it was clean, comfortable and well ventilated. Since it was still "winter" in mid-Feb, I didn't use the air conditioning and kept the window open to let in the cool air. Got to view some greenery from the window on the 16th floor, a really nice change after experiencing horrific stays at TST. Complimentary coffee and tea at the Lobby was a nice touch! I was glad that the Front Desk was manned 24hours. We arrived in the morning by 8am, and was allowed to store our bags first and enjoy the coffee. The room had lots of storage space above the bed, but not much room to place the luggage bag. Nevertheless, mattress was super comfortable and thick. Slept so good! Enjoyed watching Netflix and YouTube on the TV. WiFi was strong. Locationwise, i was a bit skeptical when reading an uphill walk was required to reach the property. But in the end, it was a really pleasant walk and safe in the nights. Authentic markets and small lanes with genuine HK snacks (buns, tarts & bao), without the tourist-glamour. MRT stations, tram stops and even the airport bus stop were all within easy walking distance. At the price paid per night (remember, this is HK!), it was truly worth it for the comfort and location. Will definitely recommend this place.
