Very well appointed, amazing staff, ample parking space, in a beautiful location and very peaceful. The place is historic. The bistro serves amazing food and a very good selection of beer and drinks. The Smoke House restaurant also serves very good food and it is by the river Avoca. Breakfast is excellent. Will definitely return to this great hotel.

Christopher is such a lovely person! Super accessible and welcoming and helped a lot telling me about the best way to get to my hikes. The room as super clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast too. Definitely a place to stay again.

    The location was excellent very peaceful relaxing place. Staff were very friendly and professional. Food and service was brilliant great place to stay for a relaxing break. We would highly recommend a stay at the hotel and lodge.
