We loved our stay here. Lovely hotel in colonial/ heritage style away from the bustle of munnar town but only a 15-20 min tuk tuk ride away. Manoj, the manager, can organise all sorts of tours for you. He’s really helpful and kind as are all the staff and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely and very clean and comfortable , it was upstairs at the front with a large balcony looking out on a great view of the mountains and trees. We ate dinner here both nights and the food was excellent . Breakfast was delicious , fruit , toast, masala omelette, popadoms, puttu and fresh juice, choice of tea or coffee. I loved the fact they don’t give you plastic water bottles and have made an effort to be eco, instead they provide drinking water in glass jars. The pool was great, so clean and the temperature was nice for us, so refreshing - great after a day’s tiring hiking. We spent a whole afternoon just swimming and relaxing by it. The whole place is as beautiful as it looks in the photos and we were sorry to leave. Manoj even drove us all the way to Madurai and he was a very safe and careful driver (and nice company) unlike some we’ve had! Don’t hesitate just book, it’s a great place to stay!

I recently stayed at the las palmas hotel in Munnar near devikulam. The hotel is surely one of the greatest hotel in and around Munnar as it is quite outside the city of around 5 km it is easy to manual around and have a less traffic the rooms are very much spacious and customer service from the staffs are very polite and a very gentle and friendly manner to top on that the food they serve in the restaurant in the first floor is very good it is homely and it is very tasty and affordable

We had a great time at the Santhi Hill View resort. The rooms are clean, the view is beautiful and we enjoyed chilling on the balcony and listening to the sounds of nature. The food there is fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend you to eat at their restaurant!

I stayed at Edens Resort Munnar 11-18th November 2024. Wow! What a beautiful place to stay. I had a room with a balcony and it was just divine! All I could see were trees and alll you could hear was birds - it was like being in the jungle. They have an infinity pool there which is a decent enough size and looks out into the forest. My only complaint I have about the pool was there was way too much chlorine in it so I couldn’t stay in for long as my eyes were streaming. Munnar is a quiet area but I took a few tours out and about and the most fabulous time. The room was great (although a mini fridge would be really useful) and perfect for my needs. I travelled alone and I felt perfectly safe in the area.i changed rooms after 4 days as I’d made two separate bookings. The second room I stayed in had a beautiful veranda with views out into the forest - stunning. The staff at Edens Resort are absolutely wonderful - always smiling and happy to help - nothing is too much trouble. They helped make my stay an amazing one so thank you. The food was so good with lots of choice and big portions - I’m missing your food already! All in all I had a superb week staying there and have come home with many amazing memories. I would 100% go back and stay there and highly recommend to anyone wanting a tranquil place to stay in Munnar. Thanks everyone there for your kindness and smiles.
