We had a room with balcony and sea view. It had dual aspect windows, with views up the coast and out to sea. Very beautiful. You could hear the sea lapping at night if you kept the window open. The balcony was a good size and lovely for sitting on,. The location can not be more perfect. I liked the inside and outside eating areas. The hotel serves excellent food and offers a 10% discount for dinner. There is a wonderful outside eating area on a terrace overlooking the sea. We were also offered complementary prosecco both times we ate. Breakfast is pretty good, with boiled eggs, ham and cheese, and on one day we had a lovely fruit salad. Cakes and pastries were very good. There was brown and white bread. The hotel is colourful and quirky, and is even nicer than it appears in the photos. I liked that there were lots of books and guides around the hotel to be used by guests. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a coffee machine in the room, but as there was no facility for boiling water, the staff obligingly provided me with hot water for tea. The free WIFI was excellent.

Our stay at Hotel La Playa was great! From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel that friendly and welcoming energy. The place is clean, bright, comfortable, colourful. We had a family room overlooking the town and the sea. We enjoyed the terrace with a view very much! We had breakfast and dinner which I rate number one! Personnel smiling, helpful, we had the feeling that they are here for us to feel like at home. Only up to 10 minutes from the beach. Parking at the hotel. I hope to come here again.

We came in the middle of December for one night, very off-season for Cala Gonone. The owner opened the hotel just for us. We were very well treated and had croissants ready in the morning.

You will immediately feel at home at this family-run hotel, just 50 metres from the beach on the Gulf of Orosei, set between the sea and the mountains. Guests receive a free welcome coffee.

This place is heaven. It s a small, authentic, charming hotel where you feel very welcome. The location is a dream:the sea and the harbour are literally at your feet. The room had a balcony that was inviting to sit for a moment. The breakfast was very extensive and served on the terrasse on the rooftop where you had a panoramic view on the mountains, the sea and the harbour . To go to the beach you could use towels especially for that Mather. Free. The place Cala Gonone is small and not destroyed by tourism. No gigantic buildings here. You can visit the dreamy beaches with a boat trip. Really:perfect!!!

Very friendly and thoughtful staff. A lovely family hotel, like coming to a home instead of a corporate sausage machine. It's in a tremendous location in a vibrant and delightful town that feels like a real place with much more going on than tourism. We were there out of season and the cafés and bars were still busy with locals relaxing and socialising.

Stunning cliff top location close to town centre. Very friendly and welcoming; and a high standard of food. wide ranging sea views, including from the restaurant and the room balcony. ECO aware. There are several beaches within walking distance or a short drive, plus free parking if you know where to look for it. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in town. The nearby SS125 road south made for an exciting mountain drive.

Perfect had all needed, comfortable room (basic furnishing) pool and easy enough location, supermarket 30m away and main beach area down the road. Breakfast is good.

Our stay at Hotel Pop was nothing short of amazing ,it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The hotel is ideally located, with easy access to everything we needed, shops, restaurants, and local attractions were all just a short walk away, making our trip incredibly convenient. What really made our experience stand out was the exceptional hospitality, especially from Renata. She was absolutely wonderful ,warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made sure we were looked after throughout our stay and always went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. One thing we really appreciated was how thoughtful she was toward our 4-year-old son. She generously provided him with free breakfast, which was such a sweet and unexpected gesture. It’s little things like that which make a big difference when traveling as a family. We also arrived quite late one evening, just as the restaurant was about to close. Despite the timing, the staff still welcomed us and served us dinner without making us feel rushed at all. That level of care and flexibility meant so much after a long day of travel. Overall, the warmth of the staff, the comfort of the hotel, and the little thoughtful touches made this stay truly special.
