We had an amazing experience at Albergo San Martino! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect – very convenient and close to everything we needed. The rooms had a unique, bohemian charm to them (La Dogana&Nuccia), offering a cozy and special atmosphere that made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast was exceptional, just like the pictures, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay – highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway!

The stay has been so wonderful. We arrived only a few days after the opening of the hotel. As soon as we entered the hotel I could tell that it was an old, but newly renovated building. You are met with gorgeous marble floor and a small and welcoming reception. The hotel is located right next to Puccini’s apartment, now a museum. And close to that again is the beautiful Piazza San Michele. Around the area are authentic and charming restaurants and cafés, it truely feels like you are in the heart of lucca old town. We were met with a super friendly staff member, Ranieri, who helped us to our room. The room was beautiful, it had that old authentic charm with tall walls, a large window with wooden shutters. The colours were modern, but felt Italian and cozy. We had everything we needed in the room, and more (since neither my husband or I watch TV, but there were a lot of movies to choose from if we wanted to). The room was so clean, and everyday the cleaning staff did a wonderful job at tidying and making it comfortable for us. All the staff were so friendly. And we couldn’t have wished for anything more, it was perfect.

Hotel La Luna is located in the heart of historic Lucca, just a few steps from Piazza Anfiteatro. Staff have excellent local knowledge and can advise on the best places to eat.

The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. It's an old building and the rooms are small. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is great, very central. Nice little bar too.

I read a lot of reviews before our 8 nights stay in the hotel, and happy to admit, that I didn't believe to some bad ones and we got our wonderful days there. The hotel is located in a nice place, 5 minutes by car from Lucca (also public transportation is available) , rooms are clean, own pool, which is cleaner every day , about 20- 25 m long. The parking is free, the outer gate is centrally close at midnight. Yes, the hotel inside is not comparable with 5 starts hotels in Dubai, but Italy vacation different from Dubai , China or US. It is for us about heritage and nice, cozy family atmosphere. Owner and his team are doing the best, to make your vacation unforgettable , with a lot of advises about places to visit in Toscana and helping by choosing best restaurants in the area and also by reservations. Happy to return back next year.
