Usually, in Italy, it's only possible to eat a sweet breakfast - a little cornetto and coffee. Here I was positively surprised that they also serve salty/sour things to eat like focaccia, eggs, and cheese. I loved that! I stayed in a single room. Though it was small, it had everything I needed plus a lovely view at the Duomo from a small window. Absolutely lovely!

Amazing!!!! less than 10 minutes walk from the very center of Matera (and what a city!!!!! ) in a quite área, the facilities are just amazing. I do not know who were the architect but turning the place in a comfortable, amazingly beautiful place is something. Pietro, our host, was not only a host. He was a friendly face, someone I would like to call family. Pietro, thanks a lot for everything. The best wishes and great success to you. The room (apartment) was located in the hear of the Sassi. It was typical for the surrounding and very well equipped. Fruits, breakfast, coffee and tea everything you needed was there. And it was very clean and tidy. The hotel managers were also very friendly and helpful!

Great central little hotel, literally 3 minutes' walk to Matera's main square. Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet location despite its centrality. Good wifi. Free street parking very tricky to find (but available around the hotel) but we found paid for parking round the corner (1 euro/hour from 8am to 8.30pm but free of charge between 8.30pm and 8am).
