Very friendly and thoughtful staff. A lovely family hotel, like coming to a home instead of a corporate sausage machine. It's in a tremendous location in a vibrant and delightful town that feels like a real place with much more going on than tourism. We were there out of season and the cafés and bars were still busy with locals relaxing and socialising.

Featuring a restaurant, bar and views of sea, La Favorita Hotel is located in Cala Gonone, 300 metres from Spiaggia Palmasera.

We had a room with balcony and sea view. It had dual aspect windows, with views up the coast and out to sea. Very beautiful. You could hear the sea lapping at night if you kept the window open. The balcony was a good size and lovely for sitting on,. The location can not be more perfect. I liked the inside and outside eating areas. The hotel serves excellent food and offers a 10% discount for dinner. There is a wonderful outside eating area on a terrace overlooking the sea. We were also offered complementary prosecco both times we ate. Breakfast is pretty good, with boiled eggs, ham and cheese, and on one day we had a lovely fruit salad. Cakes and pastries were very good. There was brown and white bread. The hotel is colourful and quirky, and is even nicer than it appears in the photos. I liked that there were lots of books and guides around the hotel to be used by guests. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a coffee machine in the room, but as there was no facility for boiling water, the staff obligingly provided me with hot water for tea. The free WIFI was excellent.

Set in Cala Gonone, just 350 metres from the seaside and beaches, Hotel La Playa offers air conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. It features an outdoor pool, a large terrace and a garden.

We came in the middle of December for one night, very off-season for Cala Gonone. The owner opened the hotel just for us. We were very well treated and had croissants ready in the morning.

You will immediately feel at home at this family-run hotel, just 50 metres from the beach on the Gulf of Orosei, set between the sea and the mountains. Guests receive a free welcome coffee.

The hotel has a special vibe, local with a nice setting, and well-staged simplicity, it is exceptional without pretending to be. The staff was very helpful, discreet and understood our wishes with no effort. Very good breakfast too.

Very clean. Homely atmosphere. Mary and her family are great hosts. The breakfast to die for. We stayed for two nights and on both nights we ate dinner at their restaurant. So delicious and abundant. We definitely recommend.

What a fabulous place. From the room, to the breakfast and the stay, we couldn’t fault it. The staff went above and beyond to help us. From the moment we arrived… and got a little lost, they came to find us. The room was very nice and the breakfast had everything you needed. Adriana helped arrange a fabulous boat trip, which was the best part of our trip!

Immersed in its garden overlooking the Gulf of Orosei, Hotel Villa Campana is a unique renovated villa with a shared terrace and restaurant, just 200 metres from the sea in the Baronia area.
