We were greeted on arrival at this family run hotel by Loreanna and Gabrielle, mother and son, and shown to our room (117). Lovely bright room, comfy bed, nice bathroom, good shower etc. The hotel location is perfect, across the road from the beach, and a short walk along the coast to the nearby shops and restaurants. Lovely seating outside where you can sit and sip a prosecco and admire the view of the sea. The breakfast is amazing, Loreanna bakes every morning and the selection of cakes is all fresh and delicious. Gabrielle booked a restaurant for us and the meal was fab. We had only booked one night here, but were lucky that there was availability for a second night so we stayed an extra night. The friendliness of the owners made this a special memory and we would love to return someday.

Great holiday residence, a room was nice and clean, the stuff was very polite and helpful. A pool is big and well maintained. Very good breakfast and dinner quality, only complaint is that the dinner is not self-service.

Set on the seafront at Otranto, the Profumo Di Mare offers a restaurant, and air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free.

What a gem of a place and with an ocean view too! The staff were extremely helpful in providing a secure place for our bicycles and assisting with our panniers to our room. Breakfast in the morning was more than the usual crossiant and really loved the fresh fruit. We also appreciate the opportunity to leave our bags after check out while we spent the morning exploring this delightful city. Our regret was not spending more days here and trying the restaurant. Thank you for everything!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is perfect — close to the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh options to choose from every morning. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommended — I would definitely stay here again!

I hadn’t been back to Salento for a while and this time I was only staying for one day for work. This place was just perfect! From the warm welcome by Sara, who kindly explained everything and showed me to my room, to the room itself – super clean and with all the amenities I could need. I loved that breakfast was included, with a great variety of both sweet and savory options (which I personally prefer!). I even got to meet the owner, Pierpaolo, who was so kind and gave me plenty of great tips on where to eat in Otranto and what to see nearby, which was super helpful since I didn’t have much time. If I ever come back to Salento, Pietra Verde will definitely be my first choice again!
