Beautiful place. Ancient building with any modern comfort. The room was very nice, warm and welcoming. Very clean and and comfortable. Staff was very kind and available over the average. Restaurant in the hotel also suggested as very tasty. Also very comfortable to parking possibility.

Great location on the hill with their excellent restaurant opposite (lovely view from the terrace over the valley), very friendly and welcoming.

This old farmhouse with garden is set in the Acquafredda countryside outside Orvieto Scalo. Just 2 km from the Autostrada del Sole motorway, it offers free parking, and an outdoor swimming pool.

Nice villa in a bit remote garden area, but not far from the train station and to the historic center of Orvieto was it nice 1,5 km walk up to the hill or you can use a cableway or bus from the train station. The owners didn’t speak much English, but they were very friendly and prepared for foreigners to let me know everything important. Breakfast included in the price was very good with many choices and lot of local sweet pastries, which I was happy to try. And sitting in a garden next to a swimming pool with view to the landscape was pleasant start of the day. Room was big and too much comfortable (for me), with view to the garden and well working central air condition, which didn’t make any noise, because the device was outside for whole house.

The Picchio Hotel is set in a residential area and offers air-conditioned en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi. The ancient town of Orvieto is a 10-minute away by funicolar(until 8 pm) or by car.
