We took a Japanese style room and it was amazing. The futons are very comfortable. The balcony bath is amazing. The breakfast is modest but the Western style (sandwiches and pastry)

It was the one of my favorite hostels I have stayed! Its beautifully designed common area and rooms, hospital and helpful host/owner (Michie), and extremely clean bathroom and rooms. I also loved the new year ritual that Michie took us to experience on New Year's Eve - watching Kohaku, eating soba, going to the temple, ringing the bell.

It’s a small hotel which is quite old but room and facilities are very clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful and both breakfast and dinner provided at the hotel were plentiful and delicious.

Very kind hosts, great atmosphere and great food, both the Kaiseki diner and breakfast. Very much enjoyed our stay and were also lucky with good weather and stunning views of Mt Fuji.

The check-in and out was straight forward. The place is very spacious, could accommodate more than 6 people. Located in a small road with parking space for our minivan. Highly recommended!!
