We're very pleased and honoured to stay in this place. Very friendly and attentive lady, explained every small detail for our room., in fact she pre-heated our room. The place is very cosy, comfortable and superb clean. Highly recommended to have breakfast and dinner in this place as the husband is a well trained chef in France.

I had a perfect stay at Fairfield! Very clean hotel with a good room area and decor. It's next to a food court and onsen - which is amazing - and the hotel provides you with a discount to enjoy its warm baths. It is about 15 min drive away from Gujo-Hachiman and 5 min away from a train station ( if you are not by car ). Highlt recommended, one of the best hotels I have been to in Japan with a good price / quality relation.

Our room was just amazing. I really loved the tatami floor, color of the walls, the gorgeous view from the balcony and the fluffy futon beds. The stay was a great memory and we would love to come back! Everything was clean, friendly staff that even picked us up from the station in the evening, nice public bath, unbelievable good location.

Outstanding place! Really loved it; The room was so cozy and comfortable, big too, which is something for Japan. Their bathroom had a nice hot tub where you can easily take hot baths. The location was fantastic! Underneath the castle, such a beautiful location indeed! And only 10 minute albeit uphill walk to the town of Gujo Hachiman. Their breakfast was amazing, home cooked Miso Soup, vegetable soup and was very filling. There's also free coffee all day long and orange juice & Tea from the afternoons to early evenings. The staff was also very polite, nice and pleasant. Will overall recommend!
