Everything was super. Great location close to the station, nice public bath, friendly staff, nice and clean rooms. We went biking for 2 days, and there were no problem storing our luggage at the hotel in the meantime.

- The location was excellent. A one minute walk to the train station and the cycle drop off, which was much needed after a long day cycling. - The staff were very friendly and made check-in easy. They personally my luggage to my room that had been sent via the luggage transfer option.

A really welcoming hotel and staff, and very thoughtful of Henro. The rooftop public bath, with a superb view of Ishizuchi-san, is great for tired aching llegs and feet. The breakfast is also top shelf. Thoroughly recommended.

great stay: very clean rooms, new amenities, small but comfortable onsen, free parking, decent breakfast, good value for money. highly recommend for a stay in saijo. Kana-san at the front desk was super helpful: she spoke great english, provided recommendations for local eats/sights, and helped with Japanese-speaking-only ryokan bookings. thank you!
