Top notch facilities and service, staff go out of the way to make the stay pleasant. Very nice view of mountain from my room and also the public onsen. We loved our stay at Fairfield in Aso, ideally located just a minute's walk from the train station. The staff were very kind and attentive and the rooms were super clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. While there wasn't breakfast available, there was a very cozy communal space where you can make tea/coffee/miso soup or eat food brought from the outside. We would definitely stay there again.
