Very good customer service! We accidentally booked smoking room and they switched our rooms. Very clean and modern hotel right next to the JR station. Free breakfast buffet that includes both Japanese and western options. Very happy with our stay!

Friendly staff, clean and quiet room with obviously good sound isolation as the hotel is located literally in front of the rail station. Free slippers and toothbrushes we didn’t use to participate in their activities to lower plastic consumption - to be praised! Pajamas were available too.

Super good location. Clean. Room with good view and comfortable bed. Impressed on the healthy breakfast! I stayed here for 4nights +2 additional nights. Breads, juices, and some of the hot dishes will have different choices on each day. The restaurant staff are very nice and helpful. This is such a special place. A 150 year old Ryokan perfectly located next to the Middle Shrine. Run by a lovely family who do everything to make you feel welcome. Dinner and breakfast were exquisite! And they catered for one of our party who does not eat seafood. Staying at this Yokokura Ryokan is one of the highlights of our trip.

We were very pleased with the family. Its proximity to the station and its cleanliness were perfect. Only the breakfast was quite poor for us. It is within walking distance to the buses for skiing.

    I needed a place to sleep before heading into the mountains. It's close to the train station, close to several bus lines and nearby lots of restaurants. Nothing fancy but exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel. Service was super attentive, the room was comfortable and very clean.

    The room was good, slightly bigger than the average Japanese hotel room (in our budget). Comfortable bed, lots of amenities (also for children with slippers and duck-shaped sponges). TV, yukata, kettle,…. Good location with the bus and train station across the road. And very friendly, helpful staff.
