Amazing traditional hotel in central Kyoto, close to shops, restaurants, and subway station that takes you all the way to Nara! The staff was amazing and even left us a small gift for our honeymoon. The facilities are really nice, everything you need is there and the rooms are spacious. Probably slightly more expensive than other options, but you are guaranteed a great stay.

The property was located close to the Nara Park, which is the most famous spot in town. The staff was very kind and helped us a lot. In the entrance, they have a board with food and events recommendations, which was very helpful. Breakfast was very good! Metro station is 2 minutes walk.

Great place to enjoy kaiseki and onsens. We got the room with an in-room onsen too, which was great. Late at night we decided that we wanted to add a futon (instead of sleeping with the Western style beds) and they helped us with no problem.
