Incredibly friendly staff, great location with beautiful bathing facilities and very very tasty food (I still feel bad about the horse meat though...). What more could one ask for? Admittedly, it's a bit off-track if you don't have a car, but they offer a shuttle service to the next station (Suzaka, not Suzuka ^^) so it worked out fine even for us. We have rarely felt this welcome before. The Onsen experience is really next level with traditional Japanese rooms and the possibility to sit in the hot water and look up at the stars at night.
