Amasing place with gentle owners, nice and cute japanese vintage style, bright rooms with yukatas, beautiful onsen space with clear hot water, near the nature with excellent connection with City Center by bus or walking, big 7/11 convenient store near. The staff were very kind and helpful. They picked us up at Echigo Yuzawa station when we arrived and kindly gave us lift back to the station when our trip was over. They also gave us a lift to the Ishiuchi trains station when needed. They answered all our questions and helped us booking taxis. The ryokan is very well mantained and has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast has plenty of good options. The ofuro and the onsen are small but comfortable. All in all a very nice ryokan.

Completely exceeded our expectations. The onsen was amazing, has an outdoor, indoor, cold pool, two saunas and three pool in different temperatures The hotel staff was really nice, the food is great and there are always little treats waiting for you everywhere We stayed in the summertime when the hotel wasn't at full capacity

The location of the hotel is excellent: it is within 3-minute walk from the train station. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean, and quiet. We are very pleasantly surprised by its meal services. The hotel has excellent breakfast and dinner: both meals offer a great variety of cuisines (both western and Japanese); the Japanese option is very good. The outdoor onsen is great. The staff are a bonus: very friendly and eager to help.

I loved everything about this hotel. Family run and built by the owners grandfather with a natural spring Onsen - with both an outside and inside pool. Japanese style room with futons that were very comfy with extra mattresses provided so we could 'double up'. Free shuttle to and from the train station was great, especially as we were there in summer for Fuji rock festival. (Last shuttle was 0130am on festival days). They kept the Onsen open until after 2am for those of us late back too. Nothing was ever a problem.
