The room was excellent. The interior design and arrangements was very nice. We love that it's very clean and very big. Vieng Savanh II is a small, charming hotel nestled on a quiet street that leads to the river, yet it's right in the heart of the city. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The ones on the upper floor have balconies that make them even more enjoyable. The breakfast is à la carte, and the tomato and onion omelette I had was absolutely delicious. The coffee is excellent too. Beyond the comfortable rooms and great food, the real plus of this place is the family who runs it and lives on-site. David and his wife are incredibly attentive and professional, and they will help you with anything you need.

Great location, facilities and staff. Everything was as advertised on booking.com English speaking front desk legend, your new best friend Lee. He's helpful and resourceful. We stayed in room 008, first floor with balcony. Facilities were good, room was very comfortable. Courtesy bottles of water every day (ikea style 750ml transparent bottles). Breakfast was always solid and reliable (we had banana pancakes, ramen and fruit and yogurt, different smoothies. Self service hot coffee/tea) We stayed 3 nights, wanted to extend a couple of more days, but this property is fully booked!! You have a sneak peak at the mountain from here (balcony from room 9). Very close to night markets, but without the noise. Lee arranged our train tickets and transports, very handy as previously mentioned. Bathroom facilities in great shape. Delightful shower. A/C was powerful and silent. Wooden floors and ground to ceiling glass doors to your room. Heavy curtains for privacy and keeping the heat out if not using the A/C. If you're into ruining Monks' breakfast between 5:30-6:00am, lucky you: just walk out go left out the cozy alley 10-15mts to the main road and you will see them there. There's space to park your rented bikes or use the ines provided by the property. Note that QUEEN'S is not located on the main road, but on a cozy side alley. You can bike/scooter your way in if you like. Can't imagine how to park a rented park near this property. Next time in Luang Prabang, we will make sure to stay here at least a whole week. Plenty of things to do and see.

    Nice location and very quiet for the historic district, still city centre though. Good breakfast, not huge, but enough and well made. Laundry service at a good price, staff is welcoming. The buildings are great, loads of old wood and authentic architecture in this part of town. Bathtub!
