It’s not often that you come across a real gem that’s so underrated! My stay in Vientiane would not have been the same: Lovely place to stay, lovely staff, great location and it got its own local feeling. If you’re looking for authenticity, a place that’s far from the international franchiser that you come across everywhere and could be anywhere, this is the place to stay. Big rooms, beautiful timber flooring, great facilities, great breakfast and with excellent coffee. I would definitely rate this place as a 4 star hotel comparing it with other 3 star places I stayed in Laos.

    All the basics were covered: Good aircon, good wifi, hot water shower/sink and reasonably quiet/peaceful. The room was of a decent size, as was the bathroom. Front desk and housekeeping staff were all friendly and professional. Location wasn't bad, but not great, either - about a ten-minute walk from the center. Breakfast wasn't so great - it could have used more fresh fruit and bread/roll choices. Overall: A decent budget-friendly place at a reasonable price.

    Friendly, family-run hotel in an excellent location - central and well-connected but on a quiet street. Nice cafes and food stalls very nearby. Comfortable budget hotel with good, cheap restaurant on-site. Wonderful breakfast - local, Southeast Asian food, buffet, eggs.

    This is a small budget hotel situtated close to the river and a variety of evening outdoor restaurants. It is also reasonably close to the city centre area and hence well situated. The hotel was comfortable and clean with a decent included breakfast. My only negative is that the bed could have been softer for old bones - however, the bed was pretty typical for budget hotels.
