Our stay here was fantastic. The owner was exceptionally pleasant and helpful, arranging a complimentary pickup from the bus station to the accommodation. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire environment was impressively clean. They also prepared excellent, Sri Lankan-style breakfasts. It completely exceeded all our expectations for the price. Additionally, it's in a great location, within walking distance to the cave temple.

Wonderful property directly in the nature with great staff, beautiful pool, superb guides which really makes you feel at home. We stayed one night but should have stayed two as there is so much to explore around.

It’s a beautiful family run village. The unique style of the cottages. I felt at home immediately. The swimming pool was a welcome relief. The meals were reasonably priced and made with love, we could pick any time to eat with no issues.

Well, everything: - most importantly service provided by hotel staff, from the very first encounter. After long drive through the Sri Lankan traffic I was tired and the guy from the hotel met me by the road on his scooter to guide me to the accommodation - they had open kitchen with a variety of dishes at 21 o’clock which was perfect as me and my wife were tired to go out to look for places to eat - the territory is enclosed with a fence and they have parking spots, so it was ideal for me with rented car - the room was clean, smelled fresh and new (something I found hard to find in many hotels). - they have all necessary toiletry including hair drier - the room is very big, the bed is comfortable. - the territory is beautiful, lots of greens but the room and terrace feel private space because of greenery that separates the territory - nice breakfast - the property is close to the entrance to Sigiriya National Museum

we had a wonderful stay at Sigirya water cottage. everything was perfect and the welcoming of Ruwan and his wife is incredible. They have a beautiful location with monkeys, peacock, lezard in the garden. the breakfest is very good. they offer also the dinner option which was delicious. the owner also organize a safari for us and it was really great. totally recommend the place!!!! you can also pay with credit card which is great

Dinusha, the owner of Sunshine Villa, is a very kind and honest person. He took very good care of us. The food is delicious. The rooms are clean and nice. The bathroom is clean. He took an elephant safari for a reasonable price. Thanks for that especially. A scooter was given to see the village of Sigiriya. Thanks for the care. Highly recommend.
