Family run pension - the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Amazing location! This is a proper hideaway - the bungalows are located away from any road (the hosts would pick you up with their 4x4 from the village but you'll have to follow the narrow pathway also to reach a beautiful river cascade at the doorstep of your tiny house. Perfect place to watch nature (eagles, kingfishers, peacocks, magpies, barking deer). The family provides really good, home cooked meals, fresh juices and desserts. Treks and activities are also available. Highly recommended for anyone craving an adventure and to connect with nature. Thank you for everything!

Staying at the rainforest cabin was one of the highlights of our one month long stay in sri lanka. The place is incredibly beautiful and it was so nice to be surrounded by nature. Ravindra is a great host and made our stay really special. He arranged a guided rainforest tour for us and took us on a little hike close to the cabin. We would not change a thing and can only recommend staying at this hidden gem.

Wonderful nice stay. Front of the river.. See lot of birds in location.rooms very clean and conformable. Host very kind and helpful. Home made foods was delicious. If you visit Sinharaja I highly recommend staying near the actual forrest. Cinnamon village is within walking distance of the Forest entrance. They arrange different rainforrest tours. I took the 6 hour tour which was a highlight of my Sri Lanka trip. After the tour you can relaxe at the pool. There are not many restaurants around. You won't need any though as you can get breakfast (included) as well as lunch and dinner (resonable prices). All the food was delicious.

Everythlng was perfect. Mr.Sanduru who is manager of those hotels , solved all our problems.Even he gave extra dinner ,food ,discounted taxi service while we were leaving.All crew was so friendly they gave us free tea, coffee and most importantly they care us like not a customer but family members.Their chef was amazing.Our breakfast and dinners were amazing.We stayed another hotels but best breakfasts and dinners we had in this hotel.Those hotels are in the jungle so problems can happen for sure, just tell Mr.Sanduru and he will fix those problems like a magician.Thanks for everything , we recommend this hotel to everyone ! They are best as a crew !

The staff were very welcoming and professional. Despite the fact that we were the only guests at the hotel, and it seemed like a very quiet period, everything was functional and the staff were prepared to fulfil all of our needs and wants. We asked for extra spice in our evening meals, and it was done. We asked for eggs a particular way in the morning, and it was done. The wildlife in the grounds and around the hotel was an excellent introduction to our trip to the rainforest.
