Olinda Galle is a small, super charming, very well located hotel just a 20 min from Galle center. The rooms are very spacious and cozy, the baths which were built to incorporate nature are a true privilege experience. The delicious breakfast, served on the terrace area outside of the room is also a highlight . The owner and host is super kind and attentive. Every minute of our stay was truly special. Amazing host Mervin! Very friendly and welcoming. The garden and pool are fantastic, like a peaceful oasis outside of Galle Fort. Mervin and staff really made our stay comfortable. He even gave us a lift into the Fort one evening. Bed was comfortable and Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. There is also a really good little local cafe across the road called Gami. Try the kottu, it’s the best we had in Sri Lanka!

Very calm place. Staff also so friendly and served us in a best way to make our anniversary so perfect. Excellent chef and food was delicious. Their practise on organic good and in house vegetable & tea garden is something to learn our life. Absolutely marvelous place.

Anura and his team are wonderful, the hotel and garden is beautiful, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with all the little touches that make you feel immediately happy; tea, coffee, filtered water, toiletries and the warmest hospitality from everyone. After I was let into my room, I got a detailed text from Anura offering breakfast, spa facilities and just lots of useful information that many hotels fail to provide, and it makes such a big difference to the experience. I was surprised to be allowed to check in so early, and even more surprised that the deluxe single room had been upgraded to a huge bed! The location is also perfect, 2 minutes off the main road in blissful peace and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel locates within the major tourist area, the Fort. It's close to all nice restaurants, currency exchanges, shops. They provide mixed breakfast of local pankacks with delicious sauces, fruits, coffee/tea, freshly made juice. They are willing to listen to the customers' needs. Like we told them we like papaya, so we got papaya at breakfast! It's quite secure living in this sweet place although it's centrally located, because they lock the front door at 9pm everynight. No worries, they provide door key to check-in customers. It's a quiet hotel too as it's in a small alley one car can just pass through. Highly recommend living in the Fort when visiting Galle. We were kind of regret booking the first night outside the Fort although it's only some hundreds meters to the Fort.
