Hidden Gem in Bandarawela area. More close to Ella , even for dining. They have booked train tickets for us and arranged a Wonderfull day tour to Hortain Plains by train & had a lovely journey with their modified jeep. Place was so eco friendly & nice architectural design. All staff well trained & good with communication. Best food with unique way. Highly recommended even for multiple days.

From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

Had the most amazing stay here! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They arranged everything we wanted and were very attentive. From the moment we arrived we felt like home. The owners held the most wholesome cooking class for us, would 100% reccomend!

Don’t go expecting a 3 star experience. Upali the owner has thought of everything and you will definitely feel like you have had a 4/5 star experience. Can’t imagine there are better views of the bridge. Breakfast was amazing. Tea is served like the old Ceylon days in a proper tea pot. Bed is comfy. Plenty of hot water. Don’t worry about no AC as it’s actually a little cool in Elle. Over my 24 hours there I saw 5 trains at different times of the day. I would suggest that you walk down to the bridge in the early morning to avoid the crowds and guarantee some great photos without people in the background. An absolute must if you are visiting this area.

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.
