We loved the hospitality of the staff, the delicious food available at the restaurant, the cleanliness, the crispy air in Trnica, and of course the fantastic nature and landscapes around. We went to Galichnik, to the Bigorski monastery, and to Mavrovo. We also would like to praise Kristina who works at the restaurant who made our meals there a sheer delight 😊

This is a very stylish hotel and restaurant, located by the main valley road (but it was never too loud) between Mavrovo and Debar. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The restaurant downstair was one of the best in Mavrovo region, serving traditional Macedonian food (excellent grill and vegetarian dishes) . Jovan Bogorski monastery is just around the corner and Duf waterfalls are not far from there. You can by some local products such as honey in the restaurant. And the hosts were exceptional, organizing on the spot my daughters small birthday party. Definitely recommended!

It's in the center, but still quiet. You can walk for 5-10 minutes and then you are at the center with shops, pubs, official institutions. It's a cute small town with lots of trees and very friendly people, whom don't speak a word of English...with some German you can get a little further, here and there. But's it's best if you buy internett access and rely on the map and google translate. The bathroom in my room was squeaky clean. The cleaning staff is excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very polite.
