I arrived very tired and disappointed at other hotel. Yet, Salmak, the host at the time, made me feel at ease. He quickly found me a room and provided me with useful information about the room, the hotel, the supermarket, the tram, everything.

This was the first time I encountered contact-less check in. At the main door itself, you key in the confirmation number. Once that is processed, you get your room keys which you then use to get to your room. The junior suite we stayed in was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the sitting area was also amazing! The bathroom was a great size with double showers. My kids were in a standard double which they also enjoyed very much. This was my first experience where I never met or saw any hotel staff during the entire period of my stay. But everything was great. The hotel is only about 5 minutes away from the railway station. We had lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant close to the hotel, which we enjoyed very much! The check out too was very easy with no face-to-face interaction. Quite seamless and fuss-free. Overall a fantastic stay!

This charming, family-owned hotel is set in two late 19th-century buildings by Bergen’s Nygårdsparken. The second building is across the street from the main building.

Everything about this place we loved. Warm atmosphere greets you as you come in to the reception. We are met by very friendly staff. Beautiful and quiet. Lovely and cosey lounges in this lovely villa with a view to the sea. We also had a balcony with our rooms overlooking the river and the garden. Wifi, TV, food and drinks. We didn't miss a thing. We will definitely come back.
