Such a great little find, a cute holiday park really close to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike. Greg the owner, did everything possible to make sure our stay was comfortable by providing so much information about the area, and particularly the hike and what to expect. He also drove the shuttle bus to the start of the hike which was great and once again explained to the group everything necessary. We felt he really made a huge difference to our visit as we felt someone was there looking after us.

Located in National Park in the Manawatu region, Pukenui Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The lodge offers a sun terrace.

we love this place, nice beds, friendly staff, love the communcal area as it is spacious and kitchen well equipped. Owner knows so much about the region and the location if perfect for all outings in and around tongariro area.

Located in National Park, 16 km from Mount Ruapehu and 16 km from Taranaki Falls, Mt Haus offers a garden and air conditioning. This 3-star holiday home offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge.

Place is comfortable, warm and cozy, even for a family of six people, 5 adults and one large teenager staying in it Excellent heat pump in the living room that maintain the whole place warm, but the bedrooms still have oil heaters for extra comfort. Kitchen and laundry fully equipped with appliances. Living room with set of sofas and big TV with Freeview. Good mattresses. Amicable landlord that helped with invaluable tips regarding mount Ruapehu visit. He also offered the space with table tennis and pool table in the next door available to us but we didn’t have time to use it.

This is my second visit to this resort. Love it. Best location if you come to explore the Alpine. The starting point of the Tongariro circuit and other tracks are just at the door. Room is comfy and clean. The bar is very nice with stunning view.
