Spacious place with comfortable beds and furniture. Grounds were private, quiet, and outdoor seating, including BBQ and picnic table available. Easy to get to hwy from motel. Price was very reasonable for a two bedroom place. Playground closeby if you have little ones.

Lovely welcoming host, saw us to the room and checked we had everything we needed. He helpfully gave us suggestions for getting into Christchurch and suggested places to eat. Room 6 was amazing, brand new carpet, brand new bathroom suite, oven and microwave, and everything was clean and comfortable. The motel is off the main road so easy to find but still quiet at night. Location could not be better, depending how slow you are, it's about a half hour walk into the centre of Christchurch. Happy to recommend this motel, would love to stay again.

I don't understand why this place has so many negative reviews. The staff were really helpful, it was clean,it had all the kitchen facilities you could need and it's in a great location just a couple of minutes walk from North Hagley Park. I guess some people just like a good moan.
