My partner and I spent a few wonderful days at Vila Geany and we absolutely loved it. The room was big, very clean, the beds were really comfy and the tarrase/ balcony had an amazing view of the mountains and the river. The neighbourhood was quite, safe and close to the old town, hiking trails and any other place one would like to visit while in Herculane. Doamna Lili was a great host, very attentive, hospitable and gave us some great advice on where to eat, bathe and trails nearby. We highly recommend this guest house and its lovely owners. Fantastic stay at Pensiunea Casa Marica. Excellent location, right on the river and not far from the old town. The place was very clean and new, and the breakfast was exceptional - we ate on the terrace overlooking the river. Request the rooms with a mountain and river view - totally worth it. The private thermal pool was great - clean, lovely view and not crowded.
