One of the best hotels I have stayed in, and I travel a lot around the world due to my offshore work. Fantastic homely atmosphere, very nice staff and owners who make every effort to make their guests' stay pleasant. The hotel is perfectly located, 3-min walk to the train station, 1-min to the bus, 4-min to the down town, so you don't need a car. The hotel is very clean, decorated in a retro-Scandinavian style, which gives it a truly fairy-tale touch. Very convenient both for a private stay and for an organized stay for business purposes (free Wi-Fi that works without problems throughout the hotel, a leaving room where you can relax with chess or/ and work remotely on a laptop ). Delicious breakfasts in a beautiful, atmospheric and clean breakfast room. Thank you to the owners and staff for a fantastic stay. I will definitely visit again. I highly recommend it to everyone. Especially now, it's a great place for a Christmas getaway.

A perfect situation, with kind friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was super delicious as was the evening meal.

This hotel is situated on Trollhättan's main shopping street, Kungsgatan. Homemade biscuits and treats are offered for free in the afternoon with tea/coffee.

We loved this hotel. It had alot of history and a personal touch. The staff were very attentive and wecoming. It was warm and friendly, beds were comfortable, all very clean. The staff were charming and the breakfast was delicious. We will aim to stay there again if we re-visit in the future.

Mostly everything. Newly done facilities-Kitchen, Bathroom, Living room, ouside grill- All were new/renovated and gave good experience, Outside Dining table. backside FIKA facility -No mosquitoes. It was nice stay. The forest type outskirts were also nice. Some brown fur Deers visited us twice !

Very nice cottage located close to the Byfjord. We swam and paddled every day. The cottage had a double bed in the loft and a bed sofa in the living room. The kitchen was small but well equipped. We had a power failure in the kitchen which was restored quickly after a phone call to the care taker. Bathroom with washing machine available. We made several trips by car to viewpoints (hafsten is very recommended) and villages (lysekil, smögen, fredrikstad) and made several bicycle trips (vänernleden)
