The hotel is in a beautiful location and has wonderful staff. The deluxe double room has great sunset views across the harbour. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. It was a bonus to have a lift to all floors. It helps with safe transfer of people and luggage. The restaurant serves delicious food and there is plenty of choice if you stay a few days. The breakfast is self-service with lots of breads, meats, salad, fruit, yoghurt, juices, tea, and coffee. The owners are very kind, and it is clear that they want their guests to have the best time.

This traditional, countryside hotel is in the Öland village of Kastlösa, 200 metres from Stora Alvaret’s limestone plain, a World Heritage site. It provides 2 free outdoor pools and a large garden.

This hotel is definitely a gem of Öland. Very cosy, spacious and tidy room, great shared space with well-equipped kitchen. The personnel is super friendly. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant with traditional dishes cooked according to the recipe of the owner's family. A cold bottle of prosecco was delicious too. The breakfast was tasty and the restaurant is lovely. Perfect quality for the money.

Hotell Hamnen is in Färjestaden and features scenic views over the Kalmarsund Strait from all rooms. Rooms here will provide you with a flat-screen TV, balcony and sea views.

A glorious apartment with a beautiful harbour view. Immaculately clean and surpassed all expectations. Highly recommend.

This modern, waterfront hostel is located on the island of Ängö, 1.5 km from Kalmar Central Station. It offers a guest kitchen, TV lounge and sauna. Private parking and Wi-Fi access are free.

Beautiful and perfect location just 10-15 min walk in to town. Very clean room and private bathroom. I did not try the breakfast so can't say. Would absolutely stay again if in Kalmar.

The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was extraordinary and they had fika too. The staff was very kind and helpful

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was nice and fresh, with very comfy beds, two 90 cm wide. The toilet/shower was fresh and clean. The breakfast was a very nice buffet with the usual stuff to choose from. Free parking, but limited number of spaces. There is a shared kitchen in the basement where you can store cold stuff and even cook. Coffe, sodas, snacks and some sandwiches on sale in the reception.

Located close to Öland Bridge, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi and parking plus Sweden’s largest timber-framed restaurant. All newly renovated rooms have a flat-screen TV and private bathroom.

The room was big, with comfortable chairs to relax in. Large bathroom too. Excellent breakfast, everything very fresh, with good selection. Friendly and helpful staff. There are walking paths for those that enjoy longer strolls.
