Very cosy family run hotel with a lot of authentic details (in a positive sense). We had a nice room with a small balcony. Coffee and tea offered for free all day. Good breakfast.

A wonderful place to stay, offering absolute tranquility and beautiful surroundings perfect for walking. The views are stunning from nearly every spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very nice cottage located close to the Byfjord. We swam and paddled every day. The cottage had a double bed in the loft and a bed sofa in the living room. The kitchen was small but well equipped. We had a power failure in the kitchen which was restored quickly after a phone call to the care taker. Bathroom with washing machine available. We made several trips by car to viewpoints (hafsten is very recommended) and villages (lysekil, smögen, fredrikstad) and made several bicycle trips (vänernleden)
