The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was both tasty and beautifully laid out. We had to leave very early to catch the ferry so we couldn't have breakfast on the day we left, but the hotel gave us vouchers for breakfast on the ferry back to Oskarshamn, and that was really nice. Best of all the beds were comfortable.

Just 8 minutes’ walk from Visby Harbour and the ferry terminal, this quiet hotel offers individually decorated rooms with free WiFi access. The greenery of the Palissad Park is right next door.

Communication was very good. A few days before our arrival the landlady sent us information how to find the key for the room (there was a key box on the main entrance door) and which room will be ours. On the day of arrival we received an sms 1 hour before the official check-in time that our room is ready. The house is located inside the old town just beside the town wall, the roof terrace is on the wall.:-) On the other side there is the bus station. The street is very quiet even at night too. The whole building and our room was very cosy and clean. Bed was comfortable and wifi worked very well. There are some rooms downstairs and upstairs too. The breakfast room and kitchen is upstairs with a big fridge, dish washer, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, etc. The breakfast is simple, but very tasty and good quality (cold cuts, vegetables, cheese, yoghurt, jam, butter, cereals, juice,milk, tea,coffee). We had to leave early morning to catch the ferry, the landlady prepared some sandwiches for us to take away, along with juice. The ferry terminal is about 15-20 minutes and a big supermarket is about 5 minutes on foot.

Great location near the park. Hotel was immaculate and very large, spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast spread was amazing!

Cute little hotel in the old town of Visby with a fabulous breakfast. Staff is very friendly. I have been there for the second time and been completely satisfied both times.

In the middle of old Visby, beatiful and quiet. Not far from public parking (cars are not allowed in old Visby during summer). Shops, bars, restaurants, historical buildings and the wall close by. Lovely breakfast, very good beds.

This harbour side hotel is just across the street from Gotland’s ferry terminal and 10 minutes’ walk from Visby’s medieval city centre, itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I was positively surprised by the cost-benefit of this place. Awesome location, neat and spacious bedroom, a few shower rooms and bathrooms, supportive and friendly staff, bed linen and towels available without extra cost, and a nice kitchen. I did enjoy my room, a lot of natural light, clean, double bed, and a fan to keep it cool. The place is in the heart of Visby.

Spacious and well equipped, roomy and clean. It had everything we needed. Good location in the old part of town. easy checking in with good instructions even though there was no one on site. The ability to leave luggage in a locked space was appreciated.
