Loved our stay in Apartment Abinkar. Beautiful room and stunning drive and views around Tolmin Gorge. Lovely touch of having the few items in the fridge for coffee/breakfast. The drive is well described in the ad so may not be for everyone but we loved it!

Mirjam always answered quickly and gave all the information we needed. The room and bathroom was clean. The apartment has a really good location. Mirjam advised us some activities and some restaurants as well. Breakfast: it is organised in a different restaurant in the restaurant Soca 202 (1 min walk) you do not need any preorder just walk in (cost 12,5€)/person/morning (you can choose 1 from 4 different breakfast menüs) The key was in the key locker, but Mirjam was also there and she showed us everything regarding the room.

The hosts were very kind, generous and helpful. Warm welcome and always available when needed. The location is incredible, overlooking the river. The outside terraces add to more enjoyment of the view. Lovely private sqim area. The apartments (2) is beautifully renovated, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Easy to reach the Soča valley for hikes. Easy private parking on site.

We hadn’t planned on staying here: it was a last minute booking so we could escape a campsite 45 minutes away, in the heaviest rain with worries about potential flooding. Everything is great about the hotel: extremely friendly, helpful and well-organised owner. Spotlessly clean through the hotel, comfortable rooms, nice cotton bedsheets, complimentary toiletries etc, TV with great channels for English-speakers! We ate dinner here and loved the dumplings, trout, grilled veg and amazing pancakes and walnut ice cream. Breakfast was also fabulous with perfectly cooked omelettes and scrambled eggs! It’s a friendly, family-run place and was a wonderful safe haven for us away from camping in the rain! The owner even took the time to tell us which roads were safe to drive on, after the floods, for our onward journey.

The hotel overlooks a beautiful town and there is a restaurant below (in the hotel) where you can eat whilst enjoying the view. The rooms were modern and very clean and exceeded our expectations. We had a room overlooking the view which was great.
