I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

Super clean, efficient and just a really well run place. The location was perfect as it’s 10 min walking distance to the southern beach (a quieter more relaxed vibe), but also has a bunch of great restaurants, scooter rental places, a fruit stall etc right on the doorstep. Given that you basically need to rent a scooter to get around anywhere on Koh Tao, it doesn’t really matter that it’s not right at the beach. Much quieter area of the island than the main beach which we preferred.

absolutely stunning view. we were located on the villa right in the beach and our teenage kids were in a villa by the pool - perfect balance. can walk 1 min ti great restaurants. the owner will book you any snorkelling trip and provides lovely watermelon each day and bracelets for the kids when we left - nice one !

The pictures do not do this resort justice. The location is absolutely perfect - right at the north end of the main strip of beach, the rocks that some of the villas are built on are perfect for snorkelling, and the beach is beautiful with a shallow walk out. The view of the bay from our room was fantastic, perfect for sunrise and sunset. The resort facilities were great, although we spent so much time on the beach we never made it to the pool. Our room was way bigger than we expected, well laid-out and had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely and the dining area also had great views of the bay. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the resort was easy to communicate with.

Excellent place to be. Unfortunately we didn't have time to appreciate our stay in Koh Tao because of the rain. However the Resort is so comfortable that makes the stay enjoyable. We will come back for sure but longer.

    Great Location, supermarket right underneath. Very large rooms with comfy beds. Rooms was super clean, staff really friendly and helpful ... was able to rent a scooter for a good price from the hotel. Free transfers was also available to and from the pier. Ended up extending our time here. Would highly reccomend.

    The hotel location is great (lots of bars and restaurants nearby, laundry service 1 min away, 7-11s, travel agencies etc), they have a free shuttle from the ferry pier, and the pool is nice but that is about it. It is very good for budget travelers and partygoers.
