The staff was very helpful and always meet me with smile

I am an entrepreneur from Latvia – I own 11 stores and three Booking.com apartments, one of which is a large house. Therefore, I have experience in guest hosting and service, and I am happy to share my observations, which may be useful for you. First of all, I would like to say a big thank you for the warm welcome and the kind attitude of the staff – special thanks to Mrzda, who truly made me feel like a welcomed guest. All the small, thoughtful gestures during my stay were very pleasant. The hotel’s location and overall concept are excellent, and I can see the potential for this place to become a higher-class hotel with higher prices if just a few improvements are made to the interior and service quality. However, there were several details that caused discomfort. The room did not have the promised TV or minibar, the balcony area left an untidy impression as unnecessary items were stored there, and in the early mornings the housekeeping staff were very loud. During the entire stay, the room was not cleaned even once – towels were not changed, toilet paper was not replenished, and garbage was not taken out, which should be a standard part of the service. It does not need to be done daily, but at least once during six days it should have happened. I especially want to mention one situation that left an unpleasant aftertaste. One evening I ordered a glass of wine and paid for it. Later, the host himself came and politely topped up my glass, which I perceived as a hospitable gesture – since I had not asked for more wine. However, later, when I ordered a third glass from a staff member, I was told that I also had to pay for the previous top-up. Of course, six euros is not a significant amount, but such a situation should not occur – the guest should pay for what they order themselves, not for what is seemingly given as a complimentary gesture. Another unpleasant moment was during my early morning departure.

The hotel has a great location and kitchen. We enjoy fresh local food while enjoying Antalya/Göynük’s natural beauty.
