My highest recommendation for this well-situated little gem. Formerly the Hermitage Hotel, it is now one floor of comfortable and nicely appointed rooms (the suite, particularly, feels like time travel back to 1890). Great bed, fridge, excellent shower etc. made for a wonderful two week stay. Easy cab rides to everywhere you want to go. Best of all is management and staff, especially Olga, Maria and the cleaning staff—professional, delightful and welcoming. Cool place and great value!

This is a small family-run hotel, and the family running it lives there themselves during the war. The hotel is located on the ground floor, partly below the street level. That makes it safer during missile attacks. They are the nicest people I've ever met, and you'll feel as you're part of their family. They also run a coffee kiosk where you pay if you're able, otherwise all drinks are free. So expect just that: A family run hotel with all the quirks that comes with that. You will be lovingly taken care of, but don't expect five-star facilities. Also the rates are very modest.

The hotel is located in the city centre. Despite being central, the hotel itself is in the quiet courtyard. The room is large, with a comfortable bed. I highly recommend Incognito i if you want to stay for a couple of nights in a safe and cosy room, close to museums, opera, cafes and restaurants, botanical gardens. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I arrived earlier than planned and they checked me in (which was such a bonus, as I spent the night on the train and wanted to rest and take a shower).
