There are also plenty of places to park in front of the hotel. The owners are the most gracious and generous people that we have met on our trip. The breakfast was superb! We had cherry preserves that the wife of the hotel manager prepared herself, along with other traditional Albanian breakfast dishes. In fact, we had so much food, we wondered if we would need lunch. All the food was delicious, the room spectacular and the hosts and cook were so wonderful. I can’t say enough. This was by far the best stay that we had in Albania and will come back to this place every time we visit Berat.

Its a la carte restaurant serves Albanian and Italian specialities and offers a view over the old Gorica neighbourhood. Such a welcome, felt right at home straight away. They cannot do enough for you.Amazing views from the terrace anytime you are there. I wandered up first thing in the morning and had a delightful view as the sun moved across the valley. Building full of character and curios. Climb up not so bad if you take the steps rather than the long slow road. Worth every step to have the views we had from our room and the terrace. Only stayed one night but loved every minute. Highly recommend.

We were also encouraged to help ourselves to the grapes growing over the terrace. A very central location yet quiet, a block away from a main old town street, a great view. A spacious bathroom.
