We had cherry preserves that the wife of the hotel manager prepared herself, along with other traditional Albanian breakfast dishes. In fact, we had so much food, we wondered if we would need lunch. All the food was delicious, the room spectacular and the hosts and cook were so wonderful. I can’t say enough. This was by far the best stay that we had in Albania and will come back to this place every time we visit Berat.

The room was modern, and had a view to the castle and historical city. The shower was hot with good water pressure (this was not the case everywhere during our holiday), beds were comfy and the breakfast on the terrace was excellent. The host was very friendly and very helpful.

Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a mountain view. My boyfriend and I stayed one night at Oda e Gurit and really enjoyed it. The hotel is new, but built in a traditional style, and it's right in the heart of Berat’s old town, just a short walk from the main sights and the Old Bridge. The room was clean, cozy, and had a nice local touch. The host was welcoming and gave us great tips for where to eat and what to see. Breakfast was simple but fresh.
