Häuserl im Wald is located on the edge of Graz within a 15-minute tram ride from the centre, and it houses a restaurant serving Austrian cuisine and regional specialties. It features a wine cellar and wine tastings can be organized. Lots of space in the room, excellent bed and lots of hot water available for a long shower. Staff was excellent at the front desk, very helpful with any questions we had.

Mur Island, the Kunsthaus Graz Art Museum and Graz city centre can all be reached on foot in 7 minutes or less. Graz Opera House is 2 km away. Castle Eggenberg be reached by car in 10 to 15 minutes. The Schloßbergbahn Funicular is a 5-minute walk away. Lovely little Inn with lots of character. Restaurant downstairs seems to be popular with the locals, thats a good sign. I did like the food. Quiet location.
