Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. Gorgeous surroundings, lovely staff, really nice food at hotel, very clean. I stayed in the dome and loved it (just be aware the bathroom and toilet are in the main building steps away)!

Everything was just fine - nice clean room, great breakfast and dinner, just 10-15 mins walk to the very center of the town. The fitness room is great - I was able to do my regular fitness exercises as usual. And the swimming pool is amazing - quite long for such a small hotel. Next time in Gmunden will defined stay here again

Landgasthof Santner occupies a historic building dating from 1290 in the centre of Thalgau. The landlady is very friendly and has a stylish lifestyle. She manages everything in the hotel herself. She is energetic and treats guest very well. Recommend everything here.

Situated 300 metres from Lake Fuschl, Haus Bergblick offers rooms and apartments with mountain and lake views. Free private parking is available, and a private beach with a row boat is 1 km away. The house is absolutely stunning. Our "apartment" was beautifully decorated with expensive fittings and the woodwork just beautiful. We didn't have breakfast as we specifically chose our accommodation so as we could self cater. Appliances and utensils all supplied and to a very high standard. Lake Fuschal itself is stunning, simply gorgeous, clean, well kept and picture postcard. The public "beach" with pool and lake swimming is just perfect in every way, the town has some lovely restaurants and is spotlessly clean. 40 minute bus ride to Salzburg and 10 to St Gilgen. Highly recommend both Haus Bergblick and Lake Fuschal.

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Spent a wonderful weekend at Pension Schlömmer. As other reviews already mention, the breakfast was excellent, view was amazing, there was access to a (probably private) beach, and there is a ferry service nearby to take you to St. Wolfgang. In addition, we travelled by public transport and it's just a 15 min walk from the bus stop. We were pleasantly surprised when the owner offered to drop us at the bus stop during our return. We would like to visit Wolfgangsee again, and when we visit, we would definitely stay at Pension Schlömmer.

Haus am Wald offers panoramic views over Lake Wolfgang and the Salzkammergut Mountains. Free WiFi and a private lakeside beach, which is 2 km away, are featured. Highly recommended! A beautiful wooden house, and the host and children are very friendly. The house is just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, and taking bus line 150 allows you to get anywhere. The house is clean and tidy, with mountain views right outside the window—I had a very comfortable stay.
