The Alpine-style rooms all feature a balcony, satellite TV, a seating area, and a bathroom. Had the best week here. Pools are near by, great views, bus stop out front of hotel. Food was good. Had read comments saying no fridge in the room but we had one which was handy. Family room was a good size and comfortable. Kids loved the trampoline. All in all had a fantastic time

Hiking, walking tours and pub crawls are possible within the area, and the guest house offers ski storage space. Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

Everything was amazing in this family owned accommodation. The food was delicios! We took the half board. It was very clean clean, quiet village, next to the river. The rooms were so nice and quiet and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. It is a working farm so there are horses and sheep and dogs; we loved it all. The breakfast was delicious- bacon, eggs, breads, fruit, cheese - all freshly sourced. We had desserts and cappuccino which were nicely presented and the warm chocolate cake was to die for . We hope to visit again and highly recommend to everyone
