This traditional, family-run hotel offers a uniquely beautiful and very quiet location directly on the eastern shore of Lake Traun, a little outside the pretty town of Gmunden. The location, service, room and food! Everything was perfect. Special thanks to the personal of the hotel and restaurant: kind, polite and very helpful. We were travelling with a baby 6.5 month and enjoyed every moment in the hotel!

The family-run Panorama Hotel Traunstein offers modern rooms, each with a private balcony. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. We had a great view of the mountains and lake on the top floor and we used the elevator since we had many bags. There was free parking. The shower was wonderful and the bed very comfortable and super clean! The room was quiet. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer.

Parking lot available but with limited number of spots. But we had the places to store and charge our bicycles. Good breakfest and very friendly and helpful Host.
