Lake Bolac Motel is within a 1-hour drive of Ballarat, Hamilton and Warrnambool.Free private parking is available on site. It's super clean and well renovated. The owner couple was friendly and helpful. Theres a patio outside where you can have BBQ or enjoy your meals. It's really a pity that we stayed only one night. Best motel we had in Australia.

Beautiful place with private kangaroos, peacocks, emus, chicken and goats. Kangaroos come really close to the bungalows and it's super cute to observe them. You can get fresh eggs from the chickens. The bungalow has a private kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and fridge. This is a great place to relax for a few days or go on hikes in the national park.

Halls Gap Motel is surrounded by the magnificent Grampians Mountains and is located on the fringe of the valley floor. It offers free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi access and ground-floor units. Beautiful grounds and exceptional hosts!!

Horsham Holiday Park (formally Wimmera Lakes Caravan Park) is a great place to base yourself for exploring the Grampians, Little Desert National Park, Mount Arapiles and all the natural beauty and... The best holiday park I’ve been at for a really long time. The cabin/container was above my expectations.

Set on 3.5 acres in Horsham, Best Westlander Motor Inn offers a heated indoor pool, spa and children’s wading pool. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi access. The room is what you expect from a well managed motel! 1. Late check-in option and self pickup of key options. Clear instructions to retrieve keys were texted on the day of check-in. 2. The room had everything I needed - TV, kettle, microwave, fridge, iron and board, coffee-milk and cookies! 3. Great space for a couple! Facilities such as pool and outdoor area to relax available within property. The room was well planned. 4. Quiet space and no loud neighbours. 5. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Any place that offers conditioner deserves bonus points!

The Grampians Motel is situated on 12 acres of parkland, a 10-minute walk from Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre. It offers an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a free WiFi in all rooms. Kangaroos very friendly and close. Birds friendly. Don’t feed. If you don’t believe me, feed one a cracker.

Comfort Inn Capital Horsham offers free internet access and has a bistro, bar and cocktail lounge. It is a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Horsham town centre. Had everything I needed for a short stay on my way to Grampians. Room was spacious, bathroon clean, fridge and microwave, easy check in.

We stayed here on a Saturday night because we were doing one of the local ghost tours in town. They were currently in the middle of a renovation when we stayed, but that didn’t bother us. We were in a newly renovated room and it was really good. Nicely done, great bathroom, good amenities and the service was good too. The location is great because it’s a two minute walk from the main street with good local shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying here if you need somewhere in Ararat.
