Just 200 metres from Picnic Bay Beach, Tropical Palms Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with a kitchenette and a private balcony or courtyard. I had an excellent stay in a great location. The owners were very friendly and told me everything I needed to know about the island. I truly recommend it!

Fantastic motel and great for families/friend groups. We were a group of 8 staying in two family rooms, which was more than enough space. Pleasantly surprised about the ocean view from balcony, and staff were super accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Nomads Magnetic Island hostel is situated on the beach of Magnetic Island, only 20-minutes by ferry from Townsville. All room types are cleaned daily, with all beds made with fresh clean linen. This is a very beautiful hostel, the location of the bar is almost perfect, facing the beach and the sea, it is very appropriate to drink beer in the evening with the sea breeze, I think this is probably the most beautiful place to stay on the island.
