Located less than 2 km from the beaches of the North Sea, the Ara Dune Hotel offers a restaurant, an indoor children’s playground and an on-site shop. This hotel was really a surprise. We booked late in the afternoon on the way from one place to another. It was so comfortable! It was immaculately clean and there is a nice restaurant attached as well as a cute gift shop. The items in the gift shop were unexpected and very reasonably priced. I bought a few Christmas gifts here. I would highly recommend this hotel I also want to mention the front desk clerk was as nice and friendly as she could be. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Sandy could not have been a better host. I requested a 3pm check in as wanted to visit a local brewery before 6pm closing, and she made a dinner reservation at the pub next door. Breakfast was also great. Coffee excellent, fresh omelette and orange juice.

This is a family hotel on the marketplace in Poperinge. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel. The hotel rooms have either a view on the town square or the garden. We have stayed here many times, for a night en route etc. This was our first visit since covid and the younger generation are taking over and doing an excellent job. Marvellous dinner and breakfast. Service excellent and very friendly. Free parking nearby good in public car park behind hotel but don't trust your satnav; you need to access it via Engelstraat not Gasthuisstraat.
