I booked Gage Suites at UBC because I got a really good rate from Booking.com. Figured the distance from downtown didn’t matter as I would be out on tours the whole day. It’s perfect! Loved the university ambiance too. Staff were excellent.

Built in 1898, the Victorian Hotel features high ceilings, hardwood floors and complex moldings. Excellent location, right in the heart of the city. Bathrooms were great, and them being shared bathrooms was a complete non issue.

Very close to the Airport only minutes of drive to there, so convenient. Complementary breakfast was important to us during the stay and it was better than most of the other hotels'. Room not larger than other hotels but very neat and clean. The bathroom is great with the large lit mirror!
