A private entrance and deck with sea views lead to every suite at Lodge Himwitsa. Guests can relax on the sofa bed in the living room and watch the satellite TV. We thought the location was fabulous, the best view in Tofino overlooking the dock and inlet, out towards the sunset. The room was large and comfortable and had everything we needed. The little kitchenette was perfect for making breakfast. The shops, cafes/restaurants and boat/plane/kayak tour operators of Tofino were all within walking distance. The lovely beaches were a short drive away and there were bikes for hire if needed. Visit to the Tofino brewery was great. Free parking was a big bonus as it can be difficult or expensive otherwise.

Parksville city center is just 2 minutes’ drive away. Cathedral Grove is 30 km from The Tide's Inn. Beach access is within 5 minutes' walking distance from this property. Johanna is a professional, effective and a nice person and a great value for the chain.

Everything: location at the lake, very peaceful even close to road. Big comfort room and bed, lake view. Coffee machinę. Good breakfast. Parking. Perfect to go to Cathedral Grove. We will come back if we will come back to Vancouver Island.

We had a good meal in one of the two restaurants and staff were great. A good stop for catching the ferry from either location.
