The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The flat is a 2 minute walk to a fantastic cheese shop (please visit) and the COOP and Migros. It's super close to the tram stop. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub sold me after a long day of walking, I could soak my sore feet! The host was so nice to bring a wine opener for us. Overall, what a fabulous find.

Located in the center of Basel, with very clean and modern rooms, a nice staf, an underground garage and a rich breakfast is the best location to spend few days in Basel if you want a real value of money. If I will return in Basel I will definitely choose Alexander hotel again.

The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Excelent lacation. Easy access to city center. The staff was very professional but also make us fill welcome. Very clean and large rooms.
